The mountain bike cycling event The Greyt Middelplaas Escape has been organized yearly in South Africa, province Western Cape. The last edition of The Greyt Middelplaas Escape took place on Saturday 17 June 2023 and the next edition of the stage race hasn’t been announced yet.

Organizer: The Greyt Middelplaas Escape is returning to a 2 day MTB Stage Race, which promises to be better than ever before. It is the perfect weekend away for avid mountain bikers and ideal to include the whole family. It is the perfect place for hiking, mountain biking, splashing in the river, swimming in the weir or just relaxing in beautiful surroundings and reading a book. This is one of the top destination mountain bike weekends included in the Overberg MTB Events portfolio. Distances will be approximately 60km per day. Elevation will be between 1000-1500m per day.
