This 7-day (5 stages) mountain bike tour takes you to the Marches, the least touristy region in central Italy where unspoiled nature and authenticity are still preserved. This tour goes through the central Apennines with, among others, the Parco Nazionale dei Monti Sibillini and the park Riserva Naturale del Monte San Vicino and Monte Canfaito. The route contains a great diversity with single tracks, tough climbs, challenging descents, plateaus, beautiful views, ...
You compose your own group (min. 5 persons, max. 8).

Both the route and the programme can be adapted slightly to the wishes of your group.
The total distance is +/- 250 km of which 85% is off road (with +/- 9500 altimeters).
Program:
DAY 1: You will be picked up at the airport of Ancona and we will bring you, your bike and luggage to the starting point of the tour, at the foot of the Monte Vettore in the Monti Sibillini, where we will spend the night in a mountain hut.
DAY 2: 48 km / 1787 hm (82% off road)
The flanks of Monte Vettore bring us to the gorge of the mountain river Tenna through which we climb to 1866m to finish in Ussita where we spend the night.
DAY 3: 52 km / 1878 hm (88% off road)
On day 2 we head for a mountain hut at 1820m in the heart of the Parco Nazionale dei Monti Sibillini to then descend past the ski resort of Bolognola to the beautiful Lago di Fiastra where we spend the night.
DAY 4: 53 km / 2302 hm (88% off road)
Along the single tracks on Monte Fiegni we leave the Parco Nazionale dei Sibillini. After lunch near Lago di Borgiano we trek over Monte Letegge and Monte d'Aria to spend the night in charming San Severino Marche.
DAY 5: 44 km / 2165 hm (85% off road)
On day 4 we trek (with packed lunch) through the Park of Monte San Vicino and Monte Canfaito to descend via the abandoned Elcito to the Lago di Cingoli where we spend the night in a B&B.
DAY 6: 77 km / 2576 hm (81% off road)
After you have had the chance to ride on single tracks for about 40 km in the wooded area on the slopes of Monte Nero we gradually descend towards the Adriatic coast. Via undulating "strade bianche" you can enjoy the real Italy until the village of Montefano where we stay for 2 nights in a B&B with swimming pool.
DAY 7: Enjoy a delicious breakfast in a quiet Bed & Breakfast with swimming pool (2 km from the center of Montefano) after which you can discuss the tour or go for a relaxing bike ride to the Adriatic coast (20 km).
DAY 8: Transfer to the airport of Ancona or place of departure
