The mountain bike cycling event The Munga Grit - TEST EVENT has been organized yearly since 2023 in United States, state Michigan. The last edition of The Munga Grit - TEST EVENT took place on Saturday 14 September 2024 and the next edition of the ultra will take place on Saturday 06 September 2025 in Traverse City, Michigan

Organizer: Introducing the highly compelling South African Munga format to the States, starting with two 24 hour races in Traverse City, Michigan

The Munga Grit Traverse City will begin and end on the edge of the funky town of Traverse City, Michigan. The route will heads in a southern direction towards the Huron-Manistee national forest, before swinging in a clock-wise direction towards Lake Michigan and then back towards Traverse City. The route will be predominantly on quiet dirt roads and forest tracks and will be a GPS route only, so no navigation required. The route will be around 150 miles.
