The gravel bike cycling event The Japanese Odyssey has been organized yearly since 2015 in Japan, chiho Kyūshū. The last edition of The Japanese Odyssey took place on Tuesday 22 October 2024 and the next edition of the bikepacking will take place on Tuesday 21 October 2025 in Kagoshima City, Kyūshū
