The road bike cycling event L'Etape du Tour de France has been organized yearly since 1993 in France, region Auvergne-Rhône-Alps. The last edition of L'Etape du Tour de France took place on Saturday 06 July 2024 and the next edition of the cyclosportive, gran fondo will take place on Sunday 20 July 2025 in Albertville, Auvergne-Rhône-Alps as part of the circuit L’Etape by Tour de France 2025.

Organizer: Each year, L'Etape du Tour de France offers to ride one of the mountain stages of the Tour de France: the same host cities, the same roads, the same mythical passes but also and above all the same race conditions as on the Grande Boucle. Thanks to the important work carried out in collaboration with the police, local communities and public authorities, the Stage of the Tour de France is the only cyclosportive to offer you roads completely closed to traffic.
