The road bike cycling event Le Grand Défi 1000 KM has been organized yearly since 2011 in Canada, province Québec. The last edition of Le Grand Défi 1000 KM took place on Friday 14 June 2024 and the next edition of the ride will take place on Thursday 12 June 2025 in Saguenay, Québec

Organizer: The 1000 KM is one of those grandiose events that captures the imagination and makes cyclists want to push themselves. It's not just a physical challenge! The cyclists also act as ambassadors of healthy lifestyle habits in their environment and with the young people of the schools they sponsor. Each year, millions of dollars are raised by the 1000 KM teams to finance projects promoting physical activity and the adoption of healthy lifestyle habits in Quebec's elementary schools.
