Organizer: During the Hel van Harkema, right through the beautiful Fryske Wâlden (Frisian Woods), 66.6 or 99.9 leaden kilometers and some challenging obstacles (which, by the way, are doable for everyone) await you. Expect it to be tougher, more challenging, wetter, colder and hotter than you have ever experienced.

The unique thing about the Hell of Harkema is that you will be surprised with a number of challenging obstacles along the way. These will cause some of your cycling friends to break out in a fearful sweat and you may not even dare to do it yourself but not to worry. There is of course always the chicken run for those who don't dare.
