The road bike cycling event Gran Fondo Zurquí has been organized yearly in Costa Rica, provincia San José. The last edition of Gran Fondo Zurquí took place on Sunday 10 December 2023 and the next edition of the gran fondo hasn’t been announced yet.

Organizer: Gran Fondo Zurquí offers a historic route through Tunel Zurqui on Ruta 32, first road tunnel in Costa Rica and the Parque Nacional Braulio Carrillo, located in the north of the Central Valley, on the Cordillera Volcanica Central, between the Poas and Irazu volcanoes. This marvellous natural treasure includes the Barva and Cacho Negro volcanoes, and Alto de la Palma to the north of the canton of Moravia.

Gran Fondo Zurquí finishes nearby La Fortuna, a village in the shadow of the Arenal Volcano.
