Burra 500 Ultra Endurance Gravel Bikepacking has been organized yearly in South Africa, province KwaZulu-Natal. The last edition of Burra 500 Ultra Endurance Gravel Bikepacking took place on Saturday 17 June 2023 and the
next edition of the bikepacking, ultra will take place on Friday 14 June 2024 in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal as part of the circuit Gravalist Series 500 2024.

Organizer: The Burra 500 is an unsupported ultra distance gravel bikepacking event, a challenging four-day cycling adventure that will test your endurance, strength, and mental fortitude as you navigate some of the toughest terrain South Africa has to offer.
This means no aid stations, no route markings. You get a route gpx file and you ride it your way. Do it over the full 60 hour cut-off and stop where you like, or test your mettle and ride it non-stop.
