The cyclocross bike, gravel bike, mountain bike cycling event Black Fly Challenge has been organized yearly since 1998 in United States, state New York. The last edition of Black Fly Challenge took place on Saturday 10 June 2023 and the next edition of the race, ride will take place on Saturday 08 June 2024 in Inlet, New York

Organizer: The Black Fly Challenge is a classic Adirondack Mountain gravel grinder that takes place every year on the second Saturday in June. The race changes direction every year with the start and finish alternating between Indian Lake and Inlet, NY. Over half the 40 mile course traverses the rugged Moose River Recreation Area on mountain roads composed of dirt, gravel, sand and exposed boulders with several steep elevation changes.
