The mountain bike cycling event Atacama Spirits Extreme MTB Race has been organized yearly since 2019 in Chile, región Antofagasta. The last edition of Atacama Spirits Extreme MTB Race took place on Monday 06 November 2023 and the next edition of the stage race will take place on Monday 04 November 2024 in Calama, Antofagasta

Organizer: The Atacama Spirits Extreme MTB Race is a timed stage mountain bike and navigation race and is the highest altitude mountain bike race in the world, reaching 5700 metres above sea level in one of its stages. It is a 7-day, 650 kilometre ultra-marathon that crosses the Atacama Desert from side to side very close to its widest part and the challenge connects the Andes Mountains with the Pacific Ocean.
