The gravel bike, mountain bike cycling event Alps Divide has been organized yearly in France, region Provence-Alps-Azure Coast. The next edition of the bikepacking will take place on Saturday 07 September 2024 in Menton, Provence-Alps-Azure Coast

Organizer: The Alps Divide ULTRA is a self-supported, single-stage, mixed-terrain bikepacking challenge, weaving along the Western Alps, from the Mediterranean Sea to Lake Geneva. Crossing back and forth along the national borders of France, Italy and Switzerland.

A 1000km journey filled with high mountain passes, alpine pastures, turquoise lakes, and historic military gravel roads. Accumulating 32,000m of climbing along the way.

The route showcases the spectacular and diverse landscapes of the Alps, whilst taking you on paths less travelled. A mix of gravel tracks, quiet paved lanes and a little single-track.
