New edition of MTB stage race Cape Pioneer Trek

New edition of MTB stage race Cape Pioneer Trek is announced and as usual riders can enter solo or per team of 2. 

The full Cape Pioneer Trek 7 day race edition 2023 will take place from Sunday 3rd till Saturday 9th September 2023 with departure in George, Garden Route district (distrik Tuinroute), Western Cape, South Africa. 

Every single day of the “Race With Soul” is a stunning adventure and unique challenge, taking the riders from the singletrack of Saasveld into the heart of the Klein Karoo and summiting the mighty Swartberg Mountain to traversing the arid, desert-like landscapes of the wild Kammanassie.

Similar to last year, organizer Dryland is offering a 4 day Cape Pioneer Trek Adventure Race from Wednesday 6th till Saturday 9th September 2023 for those who fear the Seven Day Race would be too strenuous or intimidating.

MTB Stage races are the staple in the South African mountain bike scene with both short (3-4 days) and long stage races (7-9 days) on the mountainbike calendar. For Europeans and American people they offer besides the sportive challenge also adventure and travel opportunities.
