The road bike cycling event The Sidetrack Epic has been organized yearly in Switzerland, canton Obwalden. The last edition of The Sidetrack Epic took place on Thursday 15 June 2023 and the next edition of the bikepacking will take place on Thursday 13 June 2024 in Engelberg (OW), Obwalden

Organizer: The Sidetrack Epic is a self-sufficient cycling adventure in one of the most beautiful regions of Europe. Superb roads and mystical scenery; Switzerland is a playground for road cycling enthusiasts.

This is not a race, it is an adventure and above all a personal challenge and voyage of discovery. The objective is to finish the event by following a GPX track with 4 checkpoints and be completely self-reliant.
