The road bike cycling event Peaks and Plains has been organized yearly since 2024 in Germany, state Saxony-Anhalt. The next edition of the ultra will take place on Friday 31 May 2024 in Magdeburg, Saxony-Anhalt

Organizer: Peaks & Plains is an Unsupported Ultracycling Road Bike Challenge that takes you over the highest peaks and across the widest plains of Saxony-Anhalt.

Starting in Magdeburg, the route follows the Elbe and Saale rivers from the east through the mystical landscape of the Harz National Park. Starting with the Brocken, you then have to conquer the 10 highest passes in the Harz! Return along the old border through the largest beech forest in northern Germany and the Magdeburger Börde.
