The road bike cycling event Klassiska Vätternrundan has been organized yearly since 1966 in Sweden, region Östergötland. The last edition of Klassiska Vätternrundan took place on Friday 14 June 2024 and the next edition of the cyclosportive will take place on Friday 13 June 2025 in Motala, Östergötland as part of the circuit Bucket List road sportives Europe 2025.

Organizer: Vätternrundan takes place annually in the month of June. Participants from all over the world come to Motala to take part in this unique event which is a part of "En Svensk Klassiker".

Lake Vättern with its breath taking scenery is the treat the participants enjoy around the whole course. Although it is a recreational bike ride the challenge is great and you need to be well prepared. Accomplishing 315kms on a bike around the beautiful Lake Vättern with start and finish in Motala is something to be proud of.
