The mountain bike cycling event El Reto del Quetzal has been organized yearly in Guatemala, departamento Sololá. The last edition of El Reto del Quetzal took place on Wednesday 05 March 2025 and the next edition of the stage race will take place on Wednesday 04 March 2026 in Panajachel, Sololá

Organizer: El Reto del Quetzal is an endurance cycling race where each athlete will put all their skills to the maximum. It is run in teams of two or individually, each team or participant must pass through each PC (checkpoint) together and within the stipulated time limit, otherwise the team will be eliminated from the official ranking, although they can continue in the race but will not appear in the official list.

The race will start in Panajachel and end three days later in Antigua Guatemala, there are four stages in which the times of each one will be accumulated to get a final result.
