The mountain bike cycling event Author Král Šumavy has been organized yearly since 1993 in Czech Republic, region Plzeň. The last edition of Author Král Šumavy took place on Saturday 31 May 2025 and the next edition of the XCM marathon hasn’t been announced yet.

Organizer: Endless woods and pristine nature as far as the eye can reach. The National Park Sumava together with the Bavarian Forest is not only the largest coherent forest area in Europe but also venue of one of the oldest mountain bike races on the continent.
