The Mediterranea MTB Challenge was previously the first MTB Open Granfondo / Marathon championship of Sicily, but has moved towards MTB XCO races with several trials all located in eastern Sicily from the Nebrodi mountains to Etna to the Iblei and Erei mountains, always with the sea just a few kilometres away. MTB trials where you can challenge yourself on all types of terrain, from the sand and rocks of Etna from the lunar landscapes to the woods and lakes of the Nebrodi and Peloritani.
