The gravel bike cycling event Traverse GRVL Tanzania has been organized yearly since 2025 in Tanzania, region Kilimanjaro. The last edition of Traverse GRVL Tanzania took place on Wednesday 21 May 2025 and the next edition of the stage race hasn’t been announced yet.

Organizer: The Traverse GRVL Tanzania is a gravel stage race offering five stages of remarkable geography, amazing scenery and wildlife viewing. The course is raceable by the experienced, challenging to adventurers, and rewarding for all.

But would-be participants should know the Traverse GRVL Tanzania is a true backcountry race adventure. The race takes place on double track safari roads, fast single track, and some technical single track. Cyclists will encounter stones, sand, thorns, wildlife and more thorns
