The gravel bike, mountain bike cycling event Hunt Sydney to Summit has been organized yearly in Australia, state New South Wales. The last edition of Hunt Sydney to Summit took place on Monday 24 February 2025 and the next edition of the bikepacking hasn’t been announced yet.

Organizer: The Hunt Sydney to Summit is a self-sufficient bikepacking challenge that takes riders through some of Australia’s most beautiful terrain. Starting in the metropolis of Sydney, riders will navigate their way through national parks and remote areas, from sea level to Mount Kosciuszko, at 2,228 metres (7,310 ft) above sea level the highest point in Australia.

No grand depart (departure date is up to you). The goal is to get the grand finish.




Pedal from the metropolis to the mountains, pass golden beaches, coastal hinterlands, country towns and snow gums on your way to the peak of Australia.
