The road bike cycling event Gran Fondo Rio de Janeiro has been organized yearly in Brazil, estado Río de Janeiro. The last edition of Gran Fondo Rio de Janeiro took place on Sunday 14 August 2022 and the next edition of the gran fondo hasn’t been announced yet.

Organizer: The challenge has two distances (Gran Fondo with 115 km and Medio Fondo with 77 km) and routes are inspired by the Olympic road cycling event of the Rio 2016 Olympics! The route crosses the city from end to end passing through beaches, forests and several tourist spots.
