The mountain bike cycling event Chequamegon MTB Festival has been organized yearly since 1983 in United States, state Wisconsin. The last edition of Chequamegon MTB Festival took place on Saturday 14 September 2024 and the next edition of the race, ride will take place on Saturday 13 September 2025 in Cable, Wisconsin as part of the circuit Life Time Grand Prix Series 2025.

Organizer: The Chequamegon 40, limited to 2100 riders, is the main event of the Chequamegon MTB Festival weekend. While a few compete for the chance to be called champion of the 40 miler, the rest of the field is made up of citizen's class athletes in it for the adventure and personal challenge inherent in the sport. A concurrently run 16 mile companion event, the Short & Fat, offers a challenging but equally exciting back woods cycling experience to an additional 900 cyclists.
