Organizer: The Tom Simpson Retro Ride and cycling festival celebrates Tom’s life with the beauty of pre 1987 classic racing bikes.

The weekend is organised by the Simpson Cycling Club and starts and finishes in Harworth, the north Nottinghamshire village Tom grew up in. The recreation pavilion nearby houses a small permanent display of Simpson memorabilia.

Cyclist’s market, retro bikes and memorabilia displays, films and presentations. On-stage chats with famous pro racers past and present, plus an incredible bike ride in lovely countryside with ‘best in show’ prizes at the end. A joyful weekend celebrating friendship, beautiful bikes and the life of a champion.
