The "Giro delle Terre Brigasche" Randonnée patent is a non-competitive sporting event of endurance and regularity which takes place on a mandatory route, as identified in the Description referred to in the art. previous, as well as in the road-book and in the GPS track downloadable from the event web page, to be completed in total and absolute autonomy within the maximum period of "17 hours" hours from the start. Participants must consider themselves on an "individual excursion" and therefore in total self-sufficiency, without any technical support and without any type of assistance, not even healthcare from the Organization. The route is not manned. The checks set up for the validation of the "travel card", both the declared ones and the secret ones, have the sole function of verifying compliance with the route by the participants, for the purpose of the approval of the patent. In the event of withdrawal, the Participant has the obligation to immediately communicate the circumstance to the Organization, and will have to independently arrange for the return of himself and his vehicle. The "Giro delle Terre Brigasche" Randonnée Brevet does not require any ranking to be drawn up in order of completion time of the route, but only a list of the participants who have acquired the certification of the patent and the finishers.
Foreign athletes who do not have a valid license must be in possession of a valid medical certificate of competitive sports suitability, stamped and signed, translated into English, as well as a stamped accident and third party insurance policy. and signed, translated into English, with a limit of no less than €1,000,000.00= or in replacement of an adequate Italian insurance policy with the same limit. Athletes equipped with two or three-wheeled vehicles whose circulation is permitted by the Highway Code and its Implementation Regulations can participate.
