Experience an unforgettable cycling adventure at the 8th annual BIKE 5, a premier community event designed to promote the use of bike trails and paths in the heart of Central Florida. Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or just enjoy a casual ride, BIKE 5 offers options for all levels and abilities.
What is BIKE 5?
BIKE 5 is not just a ride—it's a movement to explore our scenic trails and advocate for connected bike routes throughout Central Florida. This event features three distinct experiences catering to riders of all ages and proficiencies.
Ride Options – Something for Everyone!
BIKE 5 Cities - 30-mile Ride
Our flagship 30-mile route explores key paths connecting Winter Park, Eatonville, Maitland, Casselberry, and Orlando. Choose between a Guided Group Ride with a ride leader (beginner, intermediate, or advanced pace options) or a Self-guided ride on your own. Be part of something big!
BIKE 5 Parks - 11-mile Guided Group Ride
Perfect for those not ready for a 30-mile ride but eager to sharpen their cycling skills. This casual group ride starts and finishes near Ward Park at the Cady Way Pool trailhead, traversing five parks: Ward Park, Veteran's Memorial Park, Lake Baldwin Park, Harbor Park, and Lake Druid Park.
BIKE 5 Miles – 5-mile Family-Friendly Guided Group Ride
A family-friendly ride for all ages and abilities. Join staff and volunteers for a proper helmet fitting, a safety chat, and a bike skills practice before the ride. Guided by Ride Leaders, this 5-mile route starts at Ward Park and goes through Baldwin Park before returning to Winter Park.
