Organizer: The North Winds Gravel Classic is a timed-event set in the remote wilderness of the Tug Hill located in beautiful Northern New York. With 3 distances to suit riders of all capabilities and interest, The Classic is a showcase of the fastest gravel in the Northeast. The North Wind name derives from the consistent winds that travel across Lake Ontario to the Tug Hill plateau, making this area perfect for sustainable energy generation through windmills and the most annual snowfall in North America east of the Rocky Mountains.
