TransØsterdalen MTB 2023 was mountain bike cycling event category stage race, XCM marathon in Norway, region Eastern Norway and was organized for the first time in 2012. The edition TransØsterdalen MTB 2023 took place on Friday 11 August 2023 with departure in Tynset, fylke Innlandet, Eastern Norway.

Nord Østerdal is a true cycling paradise for those who love beautiful nature!

As the snow disappears in the springtime, trails and old animal tracks shows up. Miles of narrow mountain farm roads and nice trails make the area an eldorado for those who enjoy cycling, and at the same time enjoy outdoor experiences.
In Tynset municipality alone, you can cycle for more than 100 kilometers on wonderfully fun flow paths.

Tynset is the regional center, and here are many opportunities, with either city center of Tynset or Savalen as a starting point.
Here you can take bike rides for many days and get versatile and varied experiences in woods and fields, or along a mountain farm road.
Some of the mountain farms are open, were you can enjoy traditional food either full meal or just a snack.
Good accommodation both in Savalen and in the center of Tynset.
