Randonnèe Tour D'Ortles is a road bike cycling event category ride in Italy, region Trentino-South Tyrol and was organized for the first time in 1992. The edition Randonnèe Tour D'Ortles 2024 took place on Saturday 06 July 2024 with departure in Merano, provincia autonoma Bolzano-Alto Adige, Trentino-South Tyrol.

Randonnèe Tour D'Ortles is offering 1 routes (250 km) for road bike

Organizer: The Randonnèe Tour d'Ortles takes place along one of the most fascinating alpine routes in Europe. A close encounter with the icy giants of the Ortles-Cevedale range, where South Tyrol, Lombardy and Trentino meet: the route encompasses the entire territory of the Stelvio National Park.

This is how one could summarise this cycling tour, which includes four Alpine passes (two very big ones like Stelvio and Gavia, two outsiders like Tonale and Palade), with a total elevation gain of 5,700 metres distributed along a 250-kilometre route, and with temperatures that can fluctuate between the 35°C of the plains and the 5°C of the more than 2,700 metres of altitude of the Stelvio Pass. Strength, endurance, athletic character and the ability to balance one's strengths are required.
