RAB ISLAND HERO MTB Marathon 2023

RAB ISLAND HERO MTB Marathon 2023 was mountain bike cycling event category XCM marathon in Croatia, province Primorje-Gorski Kotar limited to 400 participants and was organized for the first time in 2021. The edition RAB ISLAND HERO MTB Marathon 2023 is part of the circuit Husqvarna Adria Bike Series and took place on Saturday 06 May 2023 with departure in Rab, Primorje-Gorski Kotar.

Organizer: Rab Island – a small pearl for mountain biking. Once you try it, you always come back. That’s why, for the third year in a row, it is an inevitable destination where one of the Husqvarna Adria Bike Series races will be held, the first of this season. Rab Island Hero – May 6th, 2023.

So much diversity in a very small area, accessible, mild Mediterranean climate and attractive single-trails network that stretches all over the island.

The cyclists are required to be adaptable and have a smart bike set-up, while the trail itself offers incredible panoramic sceneries and views of Velebit mountain, neighboring islands & islets and the crystal blue sea, as far as the eye can see. Hard stone surface, sandy parts, stone crags without vegetation, deep Mediterranean coniferous forests, fun singles and fast “gravel” sections.

There’s another very important thing regarding the Rab Island Hero race – we have left the designing, tracing and marking of the trails to those who know the best what the island has to offer, so we joined our forces with BK Mag, local club from the Rab Island, who brings you the Rab Island in its best edition.

What you will not find on Strava and similar services, what you will not find in any tourist brochure, you will get in this race. Rab Island at its best.
