Ischgl Ironbike Marathon 2022 was mountain bike cycling event category XCM marathon in Austria, state Tyrol and was organized for the first time in 1996. The edition Ischgl Ironbike Marathon 2022 took place on Saturday 06 August 2022 with departure in Ischgl, Bezirk Landeck, Tyrol.

Organizer: It’s the top tier of the Ischgl Ironbike festival: the legendary Ischgl Ironbike Marathon. Only the most ambitious of athletes dare to tackle this one-of-a-kind race. After all, the marathon through the impressive Silvretta mountain range is not only one of Europe’s most scenic races – it’s also one of the hardest.

The race’s most difficult category takes participants across 71 kilometers of asphalt, gravel and single trails with an altitude difference of 3,200 metres through the impressive mountain world of Ischgl via Galtür to Samnaun and back again.

The Ironbike marathon is the spectacular closing event of the four-day Ischgl Ironbike – and a real highlight for both athletes and spectators.
