The Absa Cape Epic is part of the Epic Series Global Mountain Bike Events and is the most televised mountain bike race in the world and the only eight-day mountain bike stage race classed as "hors catégorie" by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI). The stage race, to be run in pairs, must be completed by both members of a team and only 680 teams are allowed to run the race each year.
The upcoming edition of the Absa Cape Epic will take place from Sunday 19th till Sunday 26th March 2023 with departure in ???, South Africa.
